Birdies!

Hi Everyone! So if you have visited Jennifer's blog today you would have seen that today is a very important day and it is the Lawn Fawn Blog Hop for Cards for Kids, so we decided that we would skip a day so that this important event could take place, but stay tuned as we will be back again tomorrow with another creation for you all to feast your eyes on.

So for tonight I wanted to share a card that I created with some more paper piecing. I have had the Hero Arts, Kiss from the Sun stamp set for awhile and have not inked it up yet, until now. I used a Hero Arts, Eggshell note card and stamped the Hero Arts, Graph Background that was inked with Hero Arts, Soft Sand and covered the front of the card. I cut a Spellbinder, Label 8 die and stamped the Hero Arts, Cloud stamp using some Hero Arts, Soft Pool ink over the die cut. Once this dried I took the branch with the birds on it, the branch and the bird house from the Kiss from the Sun stamp set and stamped them onto the die cut and whilst these stamps were out I stamped the bird house and the birds on the branch onto some SEI, Happy Day patterned paper. The birds and the bird house were cut out and set aside. I took my Copic markers an coloured the branches and leaves in on the die cut and then took each patterned paper images that were cut out and adhered them on the ones that were stamped onto the die cut using some foam dimensionals. I added a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Mi Casa stamp set and attached the die cut to the front of the card using more foam dimensionals. Lastly, I added some white string to the base of the card to tie it altogether.

Here are the products used to create this card and don't forget to keep scrolling down for some other Bits and Pieces.

I am loving the Graph Background stamp at present and I could find myself using it on every card if I allowed myself..LOL.

So I hope you like the card tonight and don't forget that Jennifer and I will be back again tomorrow to share more with you, but for now I wanted to leave you with some Bits and Pieces also for tonight:

So as you know Lawn Fawn is having a blog hop for Cards for Kids, so pop over there and leave some sweet comments.

Don't forget also if you are an Aussie resident that you have a few more days left to enter the challenge over at Scrapbook Boutique.

Here are some creations that have caught my eye lately, Vera super sweet, Sarah Gorgeous layout and the last creation from Michelle really loving the idea of a pocket and sweet card inside on the front of the card.

So I hope that you will join both Jennifer and I again tomorrow.

Hugs

JOY

Joy Stunning card. I was pretty inspired by Jenifer and bought this graph background stamp from hero arts. Would you be able to share some tips on how you get a perfect impression with it everytime?

Thanks

You have one terrific blog here! I found my way here from the Scrapbook Boutique! I think your creations rock...if you have any tips on using the Silhouette pens, I am all ears. I find that when I tested it, my image would get drawn (ones that I had purchased even) but then the pen would scribble all over it right before it was ejected out of the machine...how frustrating! Thanks in advance for listening to me go on!
