I love the botanical look of stamps so when I was able to have this stamp in my hot hands I was delighted to be able to create cards with it. I was also excited when Jennifer and I decided to use it for this challenge.

So taking this wonderful Dogwood stamp I stamped it twice onto white card stock and coloured one of the images in using my Copics and with the other image I only coloured the flowers. I cut each of the images out that were coloured and adhered the flowers on top of the other flowers with some foam dimensionals, I added some Glossy Accents to the centre of the flowers and set this aside to dry whilst I worked on the rest of the card. I took more white card stock and using the Hero Arts, Old Letter Writing stamp inked up with Antique Linen, Distress Ink, I stamped the entire white card stock. I distressed the edges of the card stock and inked over the edges using Brushed Corduroy, Distress Ink, I then attached the flower to the card stock using more foam dimensionals, adding a sentiment from the Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings stamp set under the flower and set this aside. I took pink card stock that was slightly larger then the white and distressed the edges of this and adhered each of the card stocks together. Using Kraft card stock to form the card, I added, yes you guessed it..LOL, white gel pen dots around the edge of the card and adhered the two pieces of card stocks to the card front. Lastly, I added some pink rhinestones to match and dusted the edges of the Kraft card stock with Colorbox Ink, Frost White to soften the card.
Here is another view of the card:

A stamp to have in ones collection as it will always be one of those classic stamps that will never age with time.

So I am heading to Jennifer’s blog anyone want to join me?? Cannot wait to see her wonderful creation.

Yes! I agree with you. This is certainly a stamp that one should have in their collection....and you did AMAZING work with it. Sorry to jump into the week of amazing work a little late (out on holiday without access to the Internet...who knew so much would be going on?), but I have LOVED reviewing your amazing cards and comparing how you and Jennifer used them. So cool to see the different looks! THANKS so much for including us in Blog-land as you two played with ink and stamps!
