I started with white card stock, cut to size, folded in half and set aside. Taking some more white card stock I cut a die cut using my Cuttlebug and Spellbinder, Label 8 Die. Next, using Ranger, Distress Ink, Broken China and Bundled Sage I used both inks to create a sky and grass on the die cut. I then stamped some grass with the Bundled Sage ink using the grass from the Grass and Stem Stamp set, I also stamped a stem in black ink from the same stamp set and set this aside. Taking more white card stock, I stamped the Orange from the Citrus stamp set, and coloured the segments in with my Copics, after they were coloured in I cut each segment out. Next, I took some foam dimensionals and adhered each segment to the stem on the die cut to form a flower. I felt that the flower needed to have leaves, so using the Doodle Flower Sentiment stamp set I stamped two leaves onto the card stock and coloured these also in with my Copics, I cut them out and then adhere to the stem of the flower using foam dimensionals. I added some white dots around the die cut and also to the flower and leaves. Lastly, I adhered the die cut to the white card using more foam dimensionals and added a sentiment from the Citrus Stamp set to the bottom of the card.
This was a fun card to make and a bright and cheery flower would brighten anyone's day.
Enjoy tonight's card, I am off to watch a little Tour De France and maybe do some more crafting, I have tomorrow off before I work the weekend, so I am looking forward to sleeping in and crafting.
Have a great night.
