Slicing It!!!!

Hello Everyone! Sorry for the absence, I had to work all weekend and by the time I got home from work, I just had no energy to create or at least the creative flow was out of action. Also Darryl hurt his eye, so have been slightly worried about that too, but after tomorrow hopefully his eye will start to be a bit better, once a return visit to the Doctors.

So tonight I wanted to share another card that I created for Purple Onion Designs, this stamp is kinda funky and fun.



I started with cream card stock, cut to size, folded in half and using my Cuttlebug, I ran the front of the card through the machine, embossing it with the Sizzix, Hello Friend embossing folder, I set this aside. I then took the Citrus Set and stamped the full citrus image two times onto some white card stock. I coloured both images in, once coloured in I cut one of the full images out and with the other image I cut each wedge of the citrus out and matched and adhered each wedge onto the full coloured image with some foam dimensionals. Next, I took some orange card stock and punched a small strip using my Fiskars, Scalloped Scallop border punch, I then adhered this to some white card stock. I adhered the coloured image to the top of the white card stock with some foam dimensionals and also stamped the sentiment from the same Citrus Set at the bottom of the white card stock. Lastly, I some pearls to match and adhered the white card stock to the embossed card with more foam dimensionals.
