Sewing Machine

Hi Everyone! Back with you today to share another card, but first I do hope that you all liked yesterday's video, I am sure that most of you have seen a lot of the things that I had brought, but I just thought that I would share.

So today's card I had created for Scrapbook Boutique, one for Mothers Day.

I started with cream card stock, cut to size, folded in half and set aside. I took some white card stock and cut a sewing machine image out on my Silhouette Machine, once the image was cut I inked up the Hero Arts, Dots and Flowers background stamp with some Ranger, Distress Ink, Spun Sugar, spritzed with some water and stamped over the sewing machine image, once this was dry I distressed some more parts of the sewing machine with the same ink, set this aside to dry further. I then took 3 sheets of text paper and with the Fiskars, Scalloped Sentiment border punch I punched the 3 sheets of text paper, (I have seen this technique on Dawn McVey's blog). I then took my Ranger, Distress Ink, Antique Linen and lightly dusted the sheets of text paper, I adhered each layer to the cream card with some foam dimensionals, I attached a pink ribbon above the text paper and adhered the sewing machine to the top of the card with foam dimensionals. Lastly, I added a sentiment just above the pink ribbon using Hero Arts, Valentine Sayings stamping it with some Colorbox Ink, Muted Moods, Antique Pewter, and some pearls to add another interest to the card.

Here is another view of the card.

I do hope that this card gives you some inspiration as to what you can achieve with your Silhouette Machine.

Looking forward to seeing you all back here tomorrow.

Have a great night.

Hugs.

This is gorgeous Joy. I'm sitting here repeating to myself...."I do NOT need a silhouette machine, I do NOT need a silhouette machine....." lol!!

Love the distressing and the layered scalloped print pages. Comes together to make the perfect card. Michey xx

I love coming to your blog, and also enjoy seeing your videos of stamping supplies!! I don't video any of that, I don't want my husband to see any evidence...lol...just kidding! I think it's a great ida!

Have a great evening!
