Hydrangea

Hi Everyone! Well it is Wednesday here and when I finish work tonight I have 2 days off, so looking forward to that, hopefully some crafting will be done.

So I have another card to share that I made for the wonderful company Scrapbook Boutique last week for the Mothers Day lead up, but really you could use this card for birthdays etc.



I started with white card stock, cut to size, folded in half and ran the front of the card through my Cuttlebug, embossing the front using the Sizzix, Hello Friend embossing folder, I set this aside. I then stamped the Hero Arts, Hydrangea onto some more white card stock, coloured the image in with my Copics and cut the image out. Next, I cut a piece of purple card stock and a slightly smaller piece of white card stock and created a tag, I stamped the Hero Arts, Valentine Sayings sentiment onto the tag and adhered the tag and the hydrangea image to the front of the card with some foam dimensionals. Lastly, I had some pearls that were not quite the right colour to match the image, so I coloured over the top of them with my Copic to change the colour that I needed and attached them to the front of the card and tag.

I really enjoyed making this card, very simple card to create, but turned out very effective.
