Birthday Girl!

Hi Everyone! Sorry about not posting over the last couple of days, what with work and then I ended up with a pinched nerve in my back, which was rather debilitating, I found that I could not do any posting. But I had a massage yesterday and my masseur removed the pinched nerve and although tender in a few places, I am feeling so much better. So back to posting again.

So today's card I made a about a week ago for my friend, she has asked me to make 10 cards for her, so this is one of them.

I started with white card stock, folded in half and took Papertrey Ink, Polka Dot Basic 2 and stamped a row of polka dots at the bottom of the card with some Colorbox Ink, Papaya Cream, I set this aside to dry. Next, I stamped a little girl from the Hero Arts, Sweet Wonderful You stamp set onto some white card stock and coloured in with my Copics. Once coloured in I cut her out and adhered her to the card with some foam dimensionals. I added a pink ribbon to the top of the stamped polka dots and a stamped sentiment from the Hero Arts, Birthday Sayings above the ribbon. Lastly, I added some rhinestones to the card as added interest and an American Crafts, Thicker number 1 as this little girl is turning 1.

Here are some more photos of the card.

Enjoy today's card and I will be back tomorrow with another card.

Have a great day!

Love this card! You remind me to use my thicker #'s ! :> Sorry to hear about your back! No fun I have been there a few times. A massage though can be painful really helps. I hope you don't mind me sharing this but what I also have done is: wet a hand towel and microwave until hot and place on painful spot, a few times that helps to loosen it. Another great trick is to take a tennis ball and lay on it on the sore spot. It hurts so bad but it works since it works at the spot. Or you can have your partner massage that spot with the ball. A tennis ball hits the deep muscles, I used to get pinched nerves or when you can't turn your head since it's stuck a lot. For about a year and a half my hubby has been massaging me with a tennis ball every night and it hasn't happened since. it's odd but it saves pain and money since I used to have a lot of headaches too, and did a lot of thearpy.
