Happy Easter!

Hi Everyone! I hope that you have all enjoyed your Easter weekend, mine has been chaotic and very hectic, I have had to work all weekend, but finally tomorrow I get to spend the day with Darryl and Roly, YAY! I also think that hopefully I will be doing some much needed therapeutic crafting as well.

Today's card I made a couple of nights ago, I started with white card stock for the card and folded in half and set aside. I then took some Papertrey Ink, Sweet Blush card stock and with Papertrey Ink, Sweet Blush ink I stamped polka dots from the Papertrey Ink, Polka Dots Basic 2 stamp set over the card stock, I set this aside to dry and then with brown card stock I stamped the Hero Arts, Flourish Background cling stamp with some Colorbox Ink, Frost White ink over the top of the brown card stock, I then heat set it to dry quicker. Using my white gel pen I added dots to parts of the flourish background. Next I adhered the 2 pieces of brown and pink card stock with a small strip of scrap card stock to the back, then added some Martha Stewart, White Twill Tape to hold each card stock together. I added foam dimensionals under the pieces of card stock and attatched to the front of the card.

On a piece of white card stock I stamped a flower from Hero Arts, Color Me Flowers stamp set, 2 times and coloured the images in with my Copics, once I was happy with the end result I cut the flowers out making sure that I had one big flower and one small flower, I then placed a My Minds Eye, Pearl Brad from the Lush Collection through the centre of the flower to hold them together, I added foam dimensionals under the flower and attatched it to the White Twill Tape. Next I added a sentiment to the bottom of the pink card stock from the Hero Arts, Essential Messages stamp set stamped with some Colorbox Ink, Muted Moods, Anitque Pewter. Lastly, I added some pink pearls to the card to finish it off.
