Spring Colours

Morning Everyone! Yes I know early one today, I actually have not posted for awhile in the morning so it is a bit unusual for me........LOL. I made some cards last night even though I was very tired, I think I must have got a second wind and well away I went...LOL.

I started with an idea that was in my head and the end result I made a set of cards. I started with kraft card stock and blended around the edges with Colorbox Ink, Frost White and set aside to dry. I then grabbed 3 pieces of white card stock all similar in size and stamped the bamboo from the Hero Arts, Chinese Dolls set in Versamark Ink and clear embossed each one. I got my Ranger, Distress Ink, Broken China, Shabby Shutters and Worn Lipstick and blended a single colour on each of the embossed card stock, producing what I thought looked like bright colourful Spring colours, I distressed the edges on each of the images and blended again until I was satisfied with the end result, I also stamped a little dragonfly from the Hero Arts, Good Fortune set in 3 places on the blended card stock to add another effect, I set these aside to dry. At the bottom of each card I stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings and Thank You Sayings sets. Lastly, I added some rhinestones above the senttiments and attatched the stamped and blended card stocks to each card with some dimensionals.
