Welcome to my new blog

Hi! Everyone and welcome to my first blog post. I have succumbed to the world of blogging, after much persuasion from my dear friend Evelyn the owner of Scrapbook Boutique, I have now joined the many lists of bloggers. I do hope that you enjoy the journey with me and that you find inspiration in what I create.

Now just a short note about me. I have been stamping for approximately 16 years although at times have taken breaks from the crafting world. Currently I guest design for a company mentioned above called Scrapbook Boutique, you can find the information on my sidebar. I have only recently been designing, but in this short time it has made me grow and has encouraged me to expand on my work. I truly love doing what I am doing, although only in my spare time as I work part time, so in that time I love to be in my favourite room, the craft room.

My craft room is currently undergoing construction and is almost in completion, my partner Darryl has been designing and building all of my craft furniture, he has done a truly fabulous job and I cannot be more proud of what he has done for me. So enough babble from me, now to my first cards for the new blog:

These set of cards I drew inspiration from Michelle Wooderson and Heather Nichols. All are kraft cardstock, stamped with Darkroom Door Dots background stamp, stamped in white with hearts punched out of various patterned papers, buttons were added to the middle card to add another layer of dimension, sentiments stamped and all mounted onto the cards with corners rounded. Quite cute I thought for Valentines Day, something quick and easy to give. I hope you enjoy.
