Gift Card

Happy Saturday everyone! I do hope that the start of your weekend has been going good, we have had another warm day here today, but there is good news, our air conditioner has been fixed and even though it is hot outside at least it is cooler inside then the last few days without it. So I am very grateful.

Today's card, I decided that it was time to move on away from the felties, even though I really wanted to do another one.........LOL. I decided to make a small gift card that could be used on a present for Valentines Day.

I started with white card stock for the card base, stamped a little love heart tree from the Hero Arts adorable baby girl set in Memento Tuxedo black twice onto some scratch white card stock, coloured it with my copics. (Here is a photo of the copics that I used to colour the tree).

I then cut both trees out and mounted them both onto the white card, stamping a Hero Arts sentiment from the same adorable baby girl set at the bottom of the card and lastly added some red pearls underneath the sentiment to finish the card. (I have taken 2 photos of the card for you to see the dimension).

Just a little something different for Valentines Day.

This also gave me a chance to practice my technique with my copics, which I need so, so, so much more practice..........LOL.
