Happy Wednesday!

Hello everyone

I hope you have all had a wonderful day and that it has treated you with kindness...

We have received some much needed rain and it was so nice to lay in bed last night and listen to it hitting the tin roof, best feeling and something small that brings a smile to your face..

Today, crafty wise we start a new challenge over at Simon Says Stamp...

I had some fun with Metallic Distress Paints and I have to say that they are fabulous to work with, I think more of these fun crafty items will be finding their way into my shopping cart..

If you know me I love circles, butterflies and flowers on cards and so this is what has ended up on this card, using a little Romantique from Prima..

I have moved the older pattern paper pads in my craft room and of course sometimes I just completely forget to use them, so I decided for this challenge, it was the perfect time to use some up...something I need to do more often...

Me Oh My!

Happy Mother's Day to all those wonderful Mother's out there, including my dearest Mum and Darryl's Mum...I hope you are all enjoying your day and have had lots of laughs and happiness..

I whipped up a quick card today using Studio Calico, Snippets Collection and wanted to post it before having to race off and get ready for work...

Simple layout, using lots of the collection to form a clean and simple graphic look...really fun card and super easy when you are under the pump to create a card...

Well very short and sweet from me today, must dash!

Honey Bee!

Hi friends

Sorry that I did not come back to my blog yesterday, what seemed like a day of productivity turned to a non day and before I knew it, it was night fall and I had not created a darn thing, just a few other things that I wrapped up and needed to be done, so I suppose it was not a total loss...

I did manage however to colour a cute Pure and Innocence stamp called Honey Bee and this morning I created a card...

It was so fun to just sit and colour again and not have to over think anything, just love when you can have the time to create like that..

Here is a close up..

This card will be heading out to someone to cheer their day and I really hope that it does..
